Keep Your Swords Sharp

Sick of life’s downs pushing you around?  Tired of being depressed?  Feel like your best is not good enough?  Sounds like you have giants that need to be slain.

Pills might mitigate depression and disease while food and entertainment can help you forget about it.  But what you *really* need is a Sword…

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. –Hebrews 4:12

It’s no joke.  The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and you MUST PACK A BLADE if you want to truly win life’s spiritual battles like depression and anxiety.

How do you stay sharp with the Word?  Find scriptures that deal with your issues, read what God has to say about it, declare His truths and victory over your life, and keep doing it until the problem disappears.

When people rely on the Sword, sometimes they are cured instantly.  Sometimes it takes a little while.  But we can truly testify that 100% of the time God shows up!

Sure, doubts may sometimes creep in, but it’s your job to cut those thoughts down too!  You must trust that the All Powerful God, Who created the universe, who gave His Son to die on the cross and rise again for your sins, loves you WAY TOO MUCH to let you stay in a bad emotional place.  If God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31)

Trust God.  Keep meditating on that Word to keep your Sword sharp.  Then, when the enemy attacks your mind again be ready to chop’em up like last week’s salami!

  1. You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually one thing which I think I might by no means understand. It sort of feels too complex and very huge for me. I’m looking forward on your next publish, I’ll try to get the hang of it!|

  2. First, I would like to say “God Almighty Bless And Keep You Always” secondly, I wanted to know if it was possible to download any Christian games and where would I be able to do that? The Google play store? I am so very grateful for your app and Thank You from the bottom of my heart (^-^) Yours in Christ, Hikari.
